When i called up Splat Plastering they got back to me straight away and then came around to see the cabin the next day. I explained to Darren and Kim i was going to plasterboard the cabin myself but just needed the plastering completed. They were great from the moment i met them. There was never any pressure on me for a date and said just let us know when you are ready and we will get you booked in. From the quote to them starting the work, thankfully was around a fortnight where other plasterer's were giving me two month time scales before they could even fit me in. They arrived on time, were working in cold temperatures and the whole time they were doing the job (11 hrs) they were excellent. They left the cabin in excellent condition and cleaned up after themselves. As for the finish, due to me plaster-boarding it myself i know that it had a few tweaks that needed to be readjusted, but when i asked Darren how it looked he was saying it was great and he can readjust anything which needs tweaking. I think he did more than i realised but the finish of the job and the beading around the doors and windows is amazing. I originally got around six different quotes for the job with some being ridiculously over priced which was starting to get annoying but Splat Plastering gave a competitive price and were excellent value for money. Both Darren and Kim are lovely, hard working people and if i need anymore plastering done i would definitely go back to them. Thanks guys for doing such a great job in the garden cabin.

We had our kitchen plastered by Darren and Kim, of Splat Plastering. We were absolutely amazed with the quality of the work and the finish. They went above and beyond to complete the work for us, in a very short timeframe to fit in with other tradespeople coming in and out to do work. Nothing was too much for them. They were so lovely to have in our home and I felt very at ease in their company. After they had finished, they cleaned as they went and so no mess was left and Kim even mopped the floor after! Everything was tidy and neat. The finish on the walls and ceiling is impeccable. We will use again!

Very good quality work, and immaculately tidy with it. But compared to previous plasterers I've used they were quite expensive. Entirely my fault for not insisting on a quote first (I did ask, but didn't chase it up, as we'd used them previously). Lesson learned. £825 to prepare and skim both sides of a newly built stud partition seems a lot, but maybe I'm out of touch.
